Cheryl E. Bazard Law Chambers provides general representation for businesses and individuals
engaged in transactions in The Bahamas. Our firm handles a
significant volume of commercial and residential real estate transactions as well as
general business and personal transactions, including estate planning and corporate
organizations. Our involvement in litigation is intentionally limited and typically
results in the referral or association of litigation counsel. In all transactions,
our goal is to facilitate the transaction without unnecessary delay or cost.

Cheryl E. Bazard has also gained an extensive wealth of knowledge and
training in Compliance, Corporate Governance and Anti-Money Laundering Issues
and has served as Regional Director of Compliance for a pan Caribbean Bank with
presence in 16 countries including The Bahamas, Cayman Islands and Belize. She
has Diplomas with Distinction from the International Compliance Association in
Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering. Her public service to the community
includes being a Board Member of the Education Loan Authority and a member of
the Disciplinary Committee of The Bahamas’ Securities Commission.
